2018 Winter Sports Wrap-Up

Lincoln Athletics is proud to recognize and congratulate our winter athletes on their incredible seasons! Riptides Close a GREAT Winter Swim Season!

The Lincoln Riptides traveled to Brighton High School for the SMSL Swim Championships. The SMSL league consists of 12 teams from South Eastern Michigan. The Riptides finished their dual season undefeated 5-0!  Great Meet Swimmers!  The 2018 Winter SMSL season came to a dramatic end with a first place finish for the Lincoln Riptides Boys 11-12

Middle School Swim Finishes Strong!

Lincoln Middle School sent 10 swimmers to the MISCA middle school meet this season:  Tristan Fouty, Logan Gorman, Turner Labadie, Tyler Skidmore, Kyle Smith, Ella Berecz, Emma Casteel, Catherine Katchmeric, Kiera Luhrs, and Sydney Ross. All swimmers achieved Personal Bests (PR’s)! Results are as follows: Boys 200 Medley Relay – Labadie, Gorman, Smith, Skidmore 2:14.26 (29th/32)

Amiyah Johnson Signs with Henry Ford College!

Lincoln Athletics is very proud to announce that Splitter Softball senior, Amiyah Johnson, has officially signed her National Letter of Intent to play softball at Henry Ford College next year where she plans to study respiratory therapy!

Matthew Moorer becomes an All-American Track Sprinter!

Lincoln Athletics would like to congratulate Coach Kevin Davis and senior track sprinter, Matthew Moorer, on his 5th place finish at the New Balance National Indoor Championship Meet. Matt’s 6th place finish in the 200m qualified him as an All-American in the event where he competed with top indoor track athletes from across the country!

Ken Ferrell Completes LHS Swim Legacy as All-State!

Lincoln Athletics would like to congratulate senior, Ken Ferrell, on his incredible career as a LHS swimmer. In the MHSAA State Meet Finals on Saturday, Ken qualified as All-State in the 50 freestyle with his 8th place finish and completed his high school career by finishing 11th place overall in the 100 freestyle.
